Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
|
|
BJJ is a style of martial arts unlike any other. It is a blend of traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu and modern day submissions
and ground grappling movements developed by the Gracie family in Brazil in the 1940's. Since that time, many BJJ practitioners
have fine-tuned this art to become the best style of self-defense, and the most popular style in martial arts competition.
BJJ is designed to take the opponent to the ground and subdue him by placing him in an environment that he is not familiar
with. From the ground, the BJJ man will simply use the ground fighting skills to finish his attacker.

Judo

This is another grappling art similar to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Judo is best know for it's spectacular throws. Students will
learn how to control their opponent from the standing position and in a controlled manner bring that person to the ground

Kettlebell Training
|
|
A 'kettlebell' or girya (Russ.) is a traditional Russian cast iron weight that looks like a cannonball with a handle. The
ultimate tool for extreme all-around fitness. Kettlebell training builds your strength, endurance, cardio, sheds pounds, and
a whole lot more.

Boxing
|

|
Boxing is one of the most dominant striking arts ever. Boxers are known for their amazing agility, cardiovascular
conditioning, hand speed, and much more. Boxing involves two opponents squaring off against each other striking with
just their fists. Boxing gloves are used to protect both of the fighters. Our main focus is with boxing, but we
also at times work in the kicking techniques of Muay Thai Kick Boxing. Here at Jersey Shore BJJ you have the opportunity to
learn the striking art of Boxing in a safe and fun environment.
